Trainers can obtain a Leaf Stone in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet through exploration or defeating Gym Leaders, after which the stone becomes purchasable.
If Trainers are looking to complete their collection of Eevee evolutions in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, they will need an Evolution Item known as the Leaf Stone. Since this object is only used for a single evolution, some Trainers might consider it quite scarce, like the Moon Stone or Shiny Stone. Fortunately, this is not the case, as this stone is one of the four original evolutionary stones of Generation I. As a result, the Leaf Stone, Fire Stone, Thunder Stone, and Water Stone can easily be procured from branches of Delibird Presents.
However, there is a catch before Trainers can buy a Leaf Stone from a Delibird Presents in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. This stone, including the other three, only becomes available for purchase once the player protagonist has obtained at least three Gym Badges by defeating Gym Leaders. Since this is one of the game’s main objectives, facing these formidable NPC bosses will occur naturally, meaning players do not need to go out of their way to do it. Once three badges have been obtained, Trainers can visit Delibird Presents in Mesagoza, Cascarrafa, or Levincia to buy their Leaf Stone for ₽3,000.
Finding Leaf Stones in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
Suppose Trainers prefer not to spend their hard-earned Pokédollars on an Evolution Item for a single Pokémon. In that case, they can opt to travel to the Leaf Stone’s one guaranteed spawn location in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. This location is the Team Star Base in the Tagtree Thicket, an area northwest of East Province (Area Three). According to gameplay footage provided by the YouTube channel 100% Guides, Trainers can find a Poké Ball node under a tree at the far northern corner of the Tagtree Thicket. The trail will lead directly to a square-shaped tent surrounded by NPCs, but if players inspect the tree on the left near the tent, they will find a Leaf Stone.
Alternatively, searching the area around Tagtree Thicket is also an option, as the glinting nodes that spawn have a small chance of yielding Leaf Stones in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. Trainers at Pro Game Guides claimed that they were able to find a Leaf Stone after foraging for 15 minutes around the forest. Of course, one might wonder why they did not just get the stone from the Poké Ball at the Team Star camp, but it is good to know another possible source of this evolutionary stone exists. Once players have the desired number of Leaf Stones in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, they can evolve their Eevee into Leafeon.
