Heavy rains and a landslide tore away at blufftop homes in California, leaving one swimming pool hanging at the edge of a cliff.
Drone images showed a home in San Clemente with its backyard half crumbled due to a mudslide.
Part of the base of one section of the pool was visible and appeared to remain intact.
Backyard furniture, potted plants and other items scattered across the bottom of the bluff.
Firefighters got to the home shortly after the partial collapse to search and see if anyone was home. No one was reported hurt.
The images emerged on Thursday after the 11th atmospheric river of the season pummeled the Golden State, soaking the soil that is already saturated with moisture.
Orange County experienced power outages and flood warnings.
